WE NEVER PLAN TO FAIL

WE NEVER PLAN TO FAIL

Sometimes we live our lives according to what we think we’re capable of, instead of what we really want to do.

I am going to ask this question……

“What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?”

Forgetting about your fears and just giving something a go, can get you a lot further in life, but sometimes we also need planning and direction.

Another important thing to remember, is that if we don’t have a clear vision or goal in mind, how will we know when we have achieved this.

Your goals and visions could be work related or targeted towards your own personal development, self-care or healing.

Having a vision or goal in your mind is never real enough, until you have actually written them down.

When writing your goals/visions down it helps to get really specific about them. For example:

  1. When I have achieved this goal, what will it mean to me?

  2. When I have achieved this goal, what will I be doing that I am not doing now?

  3. When I have achieved this goal, how will I feel?

Once you have got clear on your goals/visions, you can then start an action plan to break it up into small manageable/achievable steps.

It is also important to remember to reward yourself when you cross each small step, as well as when you reach the end goal. This will help to keep you motivated along the way.

When committing your thoughts to paper, you get clarity as to what you really want and the important thing, is to give it a big enough WHY. If our why is not strong enough, we will never keep going.

In life we never plan to fail, but so often we fail to plan.
